The
Federal Market Group is the sole owner of the information collected
on this site. We will not sell, share or rent this information
to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this
statement. FMG collects information from our users at several
different points on our Web site that is necessary to provide
a service or product to our customers.
Below are the areas on the FMG Web site where FMG collects data.
Data Collection on FMG's Web Site
Registration/Ordering Publications
While you may freely browse our online course catalog and list of publications
online, you will need to register in order to sign up for a course or purchase
any materials from our on-line store. After selecting a course or publication,
you will be directed to a log-in area where you will be asked for your e-mail
address and a password. Both serve to protect access to your personal information
submitted within this secure registration/order area of the site.
If you choose to take an FMG course or order an FMP publication, information
collected during the registration/publication order process includes: your name,
title, organization, e-mail address, phone number, fax number, mailing address,
billing/shipping address and billing information such as card, card type, number
and expiration date. FMG uses the e-mail address, fax number and mailing address
to provide additional information (course location, start date etc.) about your
selected course. Our customer service representatives may also use the information
to contact you in the event that they need to clarify your registration or publications
order.
FMG asks for the name, mailing address and phone number of your organization’s
training director/human resources director and approving manager. This information
is optional and is not required. FMG uses this information to inform decision-makers
via mail about other FMG training opportunities. The phone number is collected
as a secondary contact for billing purposes.
Catalog/Information Request Form
Site visitors may request course catalogs or submit information requests
via the online catalog/information request form available
by clicking on the Request a Catalog button at any time. Visitors are asked for
their name, title, organization, mailing address, e-mail address, phone and fax
number. The mailing and contact information is requested for catalog mailings
and to allow FMG customer service representatives to contact customers posing
questions via this online form. Site visitors are also given the option on this
form to opt in or opt out of FMG e-mail updates about courses and other related
news. Site visitors requesting catalogs or information will receive faxes and
additional information about FMG programs through the mail.
FMG Front LinesSubscription Form
Site visitors may choose to subscribe to FMG’s free monthly newsletter, FMG
Front Line, by filling out a form online that requests their name, title,
organization, mailing address, phone number, fax and e-mail. The e-mail is required
as the e-mail address serves as a password for users to access the PDF of the
newsletter located at FMG’s Web site. Fax and phone numbers are requested
in the event that our customer service representatives may need to verify subscription
information. Subscribers may receive postal mailings from time to time from FMG
describing special offers or information about FMG courses.
Send this Page Form
If a site visitor elects to use our referral service for informing a
friend about our classroom or e-training courses, we ask the site visitor to
provide the friend’s e-mail address. FMG will automatically send the friend
a one-time e-mail inviting him/her to visit the site. The e-mails provided through
the Send this Page Form are not collected for FMG marketing purposes and will
not result in additional e-mails from FMG. You may report any abuses of this
form to privacy@thefederalmaketgroup.com.
Web Site User Survey Form
Site visitors may fill out this optional
survey that seeks information about the usefulness of the site's information,
the ease of navigation and subject interests. Site visitors may provide personal
information such as name, title, organization, mailing address, e-mail address
and fax number. However, providing this information is optional and is not required.
This information is used purely for improving our Web site and will not be used
for external FMG marketing purposes.

out of receiving promotional mail, faxes or e-mail from FMG by sending an e-mail
to opt-out@thefederalmarketgroup.com.
Please provide a name, company name, contact phone number and detailed information
within your request so that we might process it quickly.
In addition, FMG includes opt-out information in every promotional e-mail
it sends to customers. If you choose to opt out of promotional e-mails, you will
then only receive e-mails to confirm a course registration or e-mails from our
customer service representatives seeking clarification on a course or publication
order. We may also need to send operational e-mails to inform you of any changes
to our site that might affect registrations or other transactions.
